- Representatives of each member department were accounted for: Allgood, Bangor, Blountsville, Brooksville, Cleveland, Dallas/Selfville, Holly Springs, Locust Fork, Mount High, Murphree Valley, Nectar, Oneonta, Pine Mountain, Remlap, Ricetown, Rosa, Royal, Snead, Straight Mountain, Summit, Susan Moore, West Blount.
- Representatives of each member department not present: Blount County RS
- Associate members present: EMA, 911/COMMS, Forestry, Special Ops, Blount EMS, State FM Office, Survival Flight.
- Associate Members not present: STV-Blount, Law Enforcement, Lifesaver, RAMS, Red Cross, District Attorney, AL Fire College.

Committee Reports
Chairman
· House Bill 253 passed for tax credit
· The COVID line of duty death bill passed
· HCA Grants are due by May 31st
EMA
- Fuelman Report – We have used $48,785.41 of our $60,000 budget so far
- Fuel Receipts are due each Monday.
- New Deputy Director David Horton
- Anniston is doing a Train the Trainer May 16th-20th
911
· Most equipment is on site
· Hoping to have radios out this summer
Training
· Oneonta will have the AFC props June 6th-15th
· Surface Class in May as a weekend class, this class is full
· Swift Class in late May as a weekend class, 2 open spots
· Southeast Chiefs conference in June in Mobile
· Annual Training will be in June the week after Fire Camp
Fire Prevention
· So far there have been 35 fire fatalities in 2022, most did not have a smoke detector
· 1452 people have applied for smoke alarms, 205 have been installed
Forestry
· Grant checks will be handed out at the May meeting
Special Ops
· If you need any training get with K. Booth
BREMSS
· New EMS rules effective April 14th
· 10th edition protocol effective April 29th
Blount EMS
· Staffing at Blount EMS is now an issue, so you may not always get a Basic and Medic on a truck
· Blount EMS is hosting a Advanced EMT class starting May 23rd
Fire Marshall
· Need help getting everyone to use NFIRS
Survival Flight
· We are here if you need us
Jr. FF Camp
· Raised almost $9,000 in money for the camp
· Need to know who is coming to help with the camp before you show up
· June 7th-10th is the camp
